What is tanjiro long hair?

Tanjiro is a character from the manga series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba". He is the protagonist of the series and the eldest son of his family. In the beginning of the series, Tanjiro had long black hair tied into a ponytail. The reason behind his long hair was explained as a family tradition, where they believed cutting their hair was a sign of disrespect to their ancestors. However, after becoming a demon slayer, Tanjiro cut his hair to avoid it getting in his way during battles. Despite cutting his hair, Tanjiro's distinctive appearance with his scar and fiery red eyes make him easily recognizable.
